Mr. Ignatius "Nick" Gabriel, 75, of Frederick, died Friday, November 21, 2014 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia Elaine (Player) Gabriel for 52 years.
Born July 29, 1939, in Bakonyjako, Hungary, he was the son of the late Ignatius and Elizabeth (Krautheim) Gabriel.
Nick immigrated to the United States in January 1947 and resided in Patterson, NJ. He served in the US Army from 1961 until 1967. He retired from the Montgomery County Govt. after over 20 years of service. For the last 14 years, Nick worked for the Music & Arts Center in Frederick. Since 1962, he was a life member of the Knights of Columbus (3rd and 4th Degree). |
