Richard Bunke of Huntsville, Alabama passed away at Huntsville Hospital on March 13th, 2025 at the age of 66 having suffered a massive stroke the day before. Both his brother Daniel and sister in-law Margaret were with him as he passed. Richard is also survived by two other brothers Larry and Tom, sister in-law Cathy, and a sister Christine. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by both parents Hugo and Adeline Bunke. Richard moved to Huntsville eight years ago after retiring from a career as an accountant for Santa Barbara County Child Protective Services and the District Attorney's office. Richard graduated from California State University Northridge obtaining a Masters of Public Administration and Bachelor's of Accounting degrees. Richard spent his childhood years in Milwaukee, WI where he was born. Richard will be missed by his family and friends. His funeral mass will be on March 31st at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Madison where he will be inurned. |
