Beloved husband, father and grandfather, of Byram Twp., 78
Donald Nelson Scheidt, 78, of Byram Township, died Sunday, October 20, 2024, at home.
Donald was predeceased by his parents, William and Johanna (Murray) Schiedt. He is survived by his beloved wife, JoAnne (Minutoli) Scheidt; his sons, William Joseph Scheidt (Leah Roy) and Matthew Donald Scheidt; his grandsons, William Christian Scheidt and Finley Archer Scheidt; his granddaughter, Lilith Bachelder (Yoshi Hewitt); and his sister, Mary Ruth Hansen.
Visitation will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2024 and from 2 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St, Newton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 48 Tranquility Rd, Andover Boro, NJ. Interment will follow in Good Shepherd R.C. Cemetery, Airport Rd, Green Twp., NJ.
