George Bott was born on December 6, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois to Aloysius and Mary (nee Aha) Bott. He passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024 in Lake Zurich, Illinois.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army & National Guard. After service to his country, he was an engineer at Teletype (now Lucent Technologies) eventually becoming a realtor.
George was married for over 55 years to the late Cherie Lynn (nee McLean) Bott who he met at Teletype. Together, they raised three children in Chicago and then later in Palatine. He was an active parishioner, usher and a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Thomas of Villanova Church in Palatine. |
