Edward Wyatt Fry Jr. 78, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Mosaic Life Care. He was born May 9, 1945 in St. Joseph, MO, son of Anna and Edward Fry Sr. He graduated from Christian Brothers, class of 1965. He married Karen Albright on December 4, 1971 in St. Joseph. Ed worked at Friskie's and The Living Community. His hobbies included camping, fishing, golfing, traveling and, riding around on his scooter. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and St. James Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Fry Sr., wife, Karen Lee Fry, brother, Gerry Fry, and son-in-law, Tim Pollard. Survivors include: mother, Anna Fry of St. Joseph, daughters, Stacey Unzicker (Richard Humbard) of Leavenworth, KS, and Heather (Brian) Tipton of St Joseph, brother, Ronald (Kay) Fry of FL, grandchildren, Greg Humbard, KayLee Goodman, and Tamara Adams, and 3 great-grandchildren. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday, July 3, 2023, at 10:30 am at the St. James Catholic Church, Father Jonathan Davis Celebrant. The Rosary will be recited at 4:00 pm, Sunday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Mount Olivet Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the St. James Catholic Church or charity of choice. |
