HOFFMAN ESTATES - Michael L. Redmond, 93, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Leona for 64 years. Loving father to Jim (Laura), Brian (Cathy), Dave and the late Michael "Rooster" (Faye). Cherished grandpa to Erin (Chris), Melissa (Russ), Mike, Jessica and the late Robert. Doting great-grandpa to Jacob and Paige. Adored cousin of "Bernie." Loving Uncle to many. Michael will be missed by all his family and friends. He was a proud Army veteran. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 29th, from 9-10am at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine IL 60067. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Holy Family Catholic Parish, 2515 W. Palatine Rd., Inverness, IL, on Friday, January 29th, at 10:30am.
