ohn Brenner Obituary John A. Brenner of Inverness for nine years Prayers for John A. Brenner, 75, formerly of Chicago, will be said at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, at Smith- Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine, proceeding to Holy Family Parish, for a Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Born Sept. 1, 1933, in Chicago, he died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, in Inverness. John was a graduate of St. Matthias, St. George High School, St. Mary's College and Loyola, where he earned his MBA. He retired from Dean Foods Co. after 27 years as the director of information technology. He was the loving husband for 50 years of Carol (nee Kandzor); proud and devoted father of Joan (Arthur) Huenecke, Katherine (Jack) Flanagan, Michael (Leann) Brenner, Susan (Jerry) Lunsford and Karen (Tracy) Heisner; cherished grandfather of Joseph, Daniel, Edward and Jessica Huenecke, Kimberly and Megan Flanagan, Andrew and Olivia Strehle, Mackenzi and Zachary Heisner, and Allison, Madeline, Jonathan and the late Kaylin Brenner; and beloved son of the late Margaret (nee Lohr) and Clarence Brenner.
