Russell Fredriksen The visitation for Russell Fredriksen, 81, will be from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 Palatine Road, Inverness. Interment will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles. Russell was the former owner of Fredriksen and Son Fire Extinguisher Company in Bensenville. Russell loved to travel, especially in his motor home with his wife, Anna. He and his wife had traveled extensively throughout the United States. A former board member of the Buehler YMCA of Palatine and also a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council #11981 of Holy Family Church in Inverness. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Anna Fredriksen. He was the uncle of many nieces and nephews; and a very dear friend to many. He was preceded in death by his son, Gary Fredriksen.
