It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved William Raleigh Mann (Norfolk, Virginia), born in Scranton, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 82, on March 28, 2023. He was predeceased by : his parents, Johnnie Mann and Bertha Mann (Chadwick); his siblings, Hazel Knight and Charlie Mann; and his great grandchild Amara Cutts-Dolberry.
He is survived by : his children, Darryl DeMarco Mann (Danielle) and Carol Lynn Mann-Dolberry; his wife Carolyn Leigh Mann (Singleton); his grandchildren, Frankie (Michelle), Aireka (Joe), Anika and Derrick; his great grandchildren, Joey, Kennedy, Noah and Nola; his sister Sarah (Charles); and his sisters-in-law, Lillie Mann, Wilda Hobson (Dean) and Sheila Richards. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 4th 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fitchett-Mann Funeral Services (1146 Rodgers St, Chesapeake, VA 23324). A mass was held on Wednesday, April 5th 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica of Saint Mary Of (232 Chapel St, Norfolk, VA 23504).
