It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brother Truman Elliott, 84, of Norfolk, VA, who passed away March 7, 2023, at home.
Truman retired from the U.S. Navy as Chief Petty Officer after 20 years of service and was an active member at St. Pius X Catholic Church, also serving as a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rosario Elliott; brother, George Patton Elliott and a sister, Sandra Stump.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Reception will be held at the Columbus Club of Norfolk at 5201 Kennebeck Avenue, Norfolk, VA.
