John Norman Tarajos, 77, of Moncks Corner, SC, a retired mechanical designer died Monday evening at his residence.
Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER.
Mr. Tarajos was born October 22, 1931, in Buffalo, NY, a son of Paul Tarajos and Anna Eder Tarajos. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mr. Tarajos was a graduate of Buffalo Technical High School and was a National Guard veteran. He was an avid square dancer from 1971 until 2006 and was a member of the Berkeley Squares dance team, he also enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul Targus, Ignatius Tarajos and his wife Louise, and Tom Tarajos and by a son in law, Leo Curran.
Surviving are two daughters, Margaret Curran and Linda Suchocki and her husband Gary all of Buffalo, NY; two sons, John Tarajos and his wife Patricia of Buffalo, NY and Michael Tarajos of Riverview, FL; a sister, Therese Tarajos of Buffalo, NY; two brothers, Peter Tarajos and his wife Joyce of Holiday, FL and Joseph Tarajos and his wife Jacqueline of Killeen, TX; two sisters in law, Jean Targus and Florence Tarajos; his beloved friend Lillian Volf; her son Butch Volf and his wife Chris; her daughter Linda Byars and her husband Ron all of South Carolina; and many nieces and nephews. |
