The family of Louis B. Mraw, 74, regret to announce his death on the morning of Monday, June 30, 2008 at his home in Goose Creek, SC. His family and friends are invited to attend the Liturgy of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 11:00 o'clock at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 St. James Ave., Goose Creek. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Louis' memory are suggested to Winyah Community Hospice Care, 4055 Faber Place, Suite 212, North Charleston SC 29405 or mass cards at the church. Mr. Mraw was born March 7, 1934 in Trenton, NJ son of the late Louis and Mary Piszel Mraw. A retired construction foreman, he was active in the Rhododendron Society with numerous hybrid varieties he developed. He gave lectures and seminars about the propagation process and the special attention to the variety. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, his son Louis Mraw of Allentown, NJ and daughter Patricia Serenelli of Hamilton, NJ, four grandsons, Matthew, Michael, Dominic, and Mario. Also surviving are a sister, Lorraine Nemeth of Hopewell, NJ, stepson Michael Kocsis of Monmouth Junction, NJ and stepdaughter, Jennifer Fahrenholz of Dallas, NC and mother-in-law, Blanche Krimin of Goose Creek, SC.
