HOY, Aaron Michael Everett October 24, 1974 - September 4, 2022 We announce with sadness the sudden passing of our son in Windsor ON. Aaron was our much-loved oldest son, a precious gift through adoption, at seven months. He was kind, always focusing on the humorous side of life, which included an unforgettable laugh and a hilarious sense of humour. Aaron loved music, guitar, and reading the Bible. He was a talented poet and artist. We share the 'special' memory of our son pulling a 'Van Gogh' on a special UK Heritage placemat. At age 5, encouraged by his dad, he tried his luck on the soccer field where he and his friend focused on blowing dandelion fluff at each other. He did attempt other sports but usually changed his mind prior to the 'refund expired' date. Through the school years, even with diagnosed learning disabilities, our son remained optimistic. His gift of mimicry, when describing the impatience of certain teachers, was absolutely priceless. Aaron's comedic perspective of school and teachers was the perfect coping mechanism for our boy. Aaron is survived by his parents, Michael and Mary Beth (McCurdy) and younger siblings Alyson Wendy and Jordan Lewis. Also loved by many cousins, aunts and uncles. Predeceased by Grandparents Heather and Archie L. McCurdy and Sarah and Harry Hoy, and by his Uncle Ianand Uncle Bill. Special friend of Loretta of London and Denise of Windsor. Plans are pending for a Celebration of Life. Rest in Peace, 'Aaronious Monk.' |
