GEORGE A FLORENTINE

 

January 15, 1945 - September 15, 2022. George A. Florentine, a native of Malden, Massachusetts and a long-time resident of Scottsdale, Arizona passed peacefully into the presence of his savior Jesus Christ. In his final days, he was cared for at Eckstein Hospice of the Valley. George spent his working career in the automotive industry. He owned and operated his own body shop repair business early on and later in his career, worked as the Executive Director for the Arizona Collision Craftsman’s Association writing and instructing for the industry. He was an active and loyal member of Our Lady of Joy Catholic Church. He was a dedicated and loyal Knight of Columbus and served as Grand Knight of Council 11116, faithful Navigator of Assembly 3280, and Color Corp Commander. He was survived by his loving wife, Myra Cox Florentine of 21 years. Also, survived by his step children Hoyt and (Jessica) Verburg and daughter Leanne Moore and (Troy) Moore. His step grandchildren, Wyatt,(Brooke) Garrett (Maddy) and Paige Moore. Twin grandchildren, Hale and Lily Verburg and Wyatt Dunn. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to encourage charitable donations of your choice in memory of George.
