Sir Don was an integral part of both the Walker Council and most recently, the Bemidji Council. Sir Don was a true representation of what it meant to be a Knight of Columbus. Whether at the 3rd Degree level or as a 4th Degree member, Sir Don was invested and had a genuine passion for the well-being of our organization and what we stand for and are called to do. He was a man of faith, both in word and by his actions. Even with his health deteriorating, he was still one of the first to volunteer to do this... or that. He was a huge advocate for the unborn and youth in general. He was a great man... a true friend... and a Worthy Sir Knight. For those of us who were fortunate enough to have known him... we are better because of it. |
