Oct. 5, 1960 - Jul. 11, 2015 Daniel Paul Mellen, 54, of Harvest, passed away Saturday. Mr. Mellen was employed as a mechanical engineer at NASA for 35 years and was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Roberta Mellen and sister, Teresa Kent. He is survived by his son, Grant Mellen; daughter, Rachel Mellen; their mother, Rhonda Mellen; ten siblings: Pat Duvall (Micky), Bill Mellen (Gracie), Mary Doak (Fred), Tony Mellen (Mary), John Mellen (Sook), Michael Mellen, Cecilia Meredith, Beth Carpenter (Matt), Christina Perryman (Chris), and Barbara Camfield (Marcus); brother-in-law, Joe Kent; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church followed by burial at New Sharon Cemetery. |
