COUNCIL #1257 - JOHN F KENNEDY REMEMBERS
ROBERT O TESKE

In Memoriam to our departed Brother Knight Robert Teske.

Robert O. Teske, age 71, of Eau Claire, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

He was born August 15, 1942, to Otto and Catherine (Paulus) Teske in Eau Claire. He graduated in 1960 from Regis High School and attended UWEC. Bob married Judi Miller on November 6, 1965 at Immaculate Conception Parish in Eau Claire. He was a purchasing manager for 35 years at National Presto Industries retiring in 2002.

Bob served as President of the Immaculate Conception School PTA. He was a volunteer for many organizations including Sacred Heart Hospital, Harley Owners Group, Angel Space, UCP and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed downhill skiing and was an avid photographer. He loved Harley motorcycles, Corvettes and speed boats. He was creative and loved the challenge of bringing his ideas to life in his back garage.

Bob took tremendous pride in his family, especially his grandchildren. He had a vibrant and welcoming personality that inspired smiles and drew many to love him. He had a profound love of Christ and was a very proud 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus. Bob will be remembered for his unending generosity of both time and treasure. He lived by the notion that when "you leave this earth, you can take with nothing that you have received... but only what you have given; a legacy of life and a mountain of memories that will be shared for years to come."

Bob and his family wish to express much gratitude to Dr. Anton Kidess and Eau Claire Medical Clinic staff, Dr. Kamal Thapar, and the countless many at Sacred Heart Hospital for their compassionate care over the years.

He is survived by his wife, Judi; daughter, Heidi (Gregory) Young; grandchildren, Isaac, Ella and Kira Young; sister, Nicolene (Terry) Fiedler; brother-in-law, Ron (Joan) Miller; nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Orita Liska and Audrey Eels; and brother, Richard Teske.
