Sam was originally from Michigan. His wife Marie was sister to the late Pete Ferrante. Sam was also a Kentucky Colonel and devoted a great deal of his time to performing charitable work.

CAMPIS SAMUEL Age 72, of Madison, AL passed away Sunday, October 17. He was a 4th degree lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the Eagles. He is survived by his wife, Marie Campis, daughters, JoAnn Perez and Donna (Michael) Modaff, brothers, Louis (Diane), Joseph (Sharon), John (Tina) and Charles (Christine) Campis, brother in law Peter Ferrante, grandchildren, Victoria, Jessica, Nicolas, Kaitlyn and Ashley. He was preceded in death by his sister Rosie Campis. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Madison Civitan Club, 14446 Hunter Road, Harvest, AL 35749 to support the Guardian Angels Program at 305 8th Street, Huntsville, AL. |
