Robert Gillingham age 73 of Colchester, passed away at 5:20 A.M. Sunday, October 19, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Illinois. He was born December 18, 1940, in Richland Center, Wisconsin, to Robert F. and Elsie Cooper Gillingham. Robert was united in marriage on April 29, 1967, at Richland Center, Wisconsin, to Mary Kraska, she survives of Colchester.

1 Son; Kyle Robert Gillingham, Jefferson, Wisconsin

1 Daughter: Katrina and Gary Daytner, Macomb, Illinois

2 Grandchildren: Nika Daytner and Maksim Daytner

and 1 Sister: Barbara and Ed Borton, Richland Center, Wisconsin.

Robert was preceded in death by his Father: 1 Sister: Marvalene Weeden, 3 Nephews: Alan Borton, Gary Borton and Robert Weeden.

Robert was a member of the Colchester United Methodist Church, and St. Marys Catholic Church, Richland Center, Wisconsin, American Legion, Knights of Columbus, Richland Center, Wisconsin, Richland County JC’s. Robert served his country in the United States Navy. He had worked at Richland County Office Supplies, Ed’s Family Foods and the Phoenix Computer Center.

Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, October, 23, 2014, at the Colchester United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Smith. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester.

There will be a Memorial service at 11:30 A.M. Saturday November 15, 2014, the Pratt Memorial Chapel in Richland Center, Wisconsin, with a Visitation from 9:30 to 11:30 before the service. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to Colchester United Methodist Church, St. Paul School, Macomb, Illinois, Pine Valley Healthcare, Richland Center, Wisconsin.
