This to inform you that PGK Robert William Gadbois, 79, Kokomo (IN), passed away on Sunday July 3, 2022, at Northwoods Village. He was born in Chicago on February 8, 1943, to the late William and Adeline (Botts) Gadbois.
Visitation will be at St. Hubert Church on Wednesday August 3 from 9am to 10am. Funeral Mass will begin at 10am. Interment will be at St. Michael's Cemetery in Palatine.
Robert graduated from Chicago Vocational High School in 1961. He worked for AT&T for 30 years and retired in 1992. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #45890 and #6964, where he was Grand Knight from 2004-2005. He was also a member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish Church.
Robert is survived by his children, Gregory A. Gadbois and Christine M. Gerasta; grandchildren, Denae J. Gerasta, Darian R. Gerasta and Delaney E. Gerasta; brother, William Gadbois; and sister, Joyce Huenecke.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family has requested the attendance of members of the Knights of Columbus. If attending the visitation or Mass please wear your blue council polo shirts. Dark suits and yellow/white sashes are needed if an Honor Guard is requested.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus or the Parkinson's Foundation (parkinson.org).
