It is with great sadness that the family of Marian Wozny announces his passing on September 20, 2019, at the age of 70, after a brief illness.
Marian was an prayerful member of St. Benedict Tridentine Community (Latin Mass) at Assumption & St. Alphonsus Parish/Churches. Marian during his entire life dedicated countless hours in Adoration of Jesus in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. Marian was a member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree Archbishop Denis O’Connor C.S.B. Council #14969 and 4th Degree Dean Wagner Assembly #0862.
Devoted and beloved husband to Teresa, for 40 years. Much cherished father of David, (wife Magdalena) Adrian and Julita.(husband Salvador). Marian was a very proud Grandfather to seven grandchildren - Jacob, Julia, Anthony, Emma, Francis, Jonas, Oliver.
The family would like to extend their heart felt appreciation for the support, thoughts and prayers, from friends and members of the St. Benedict Community. A very special thanks to the staff of Windsor Regional Hospital-Metropolitan Campus for their expertise with treatment and kindness while Marian was in their care.
Marian was retired after 10 years of service with the Doctors of Physical Physiotherapy in Toronto due to change of practice in the health system. At Marian’s request, cremation will take place and his ashes will be taken back to Poland to be buried in the family plot. |
