Terry passed away at home on February 10, 2022. He was born on July 9, 1941, in Johnstown, PA, and graduated from Johnstown Catholic High in 1959. Terry then joined the Navy serving on the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga CVA60. After the Navy, he worked as a buyer of shoes and accessories for 13 major department stores. In 1984, he began working for a large commercial developer managing shopping malls in the Midwest, Southwest, and West Coast. Terry was active in his church and community. He was a Fourth Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus, Usher and Eucharistic Minister. He was Treasurer and 2nd Vice President for St. Vincent de Paul Council providing services to those in need. Terry was preceded in death by his first wife, Susan Eckenrod, of 44 years. In time, Terry was able to find love again and married Nancy Gaug in 2011. Terry and Nancy enjoyed traveling, including many cruises. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; his children Brian (Laura) Klaum, Brigitte (Jeff) Ott, Glenn (Brigitt) Klaum, and Tara (Duncan) Smith; his siblings, Joyce Motter and Alan Klaum; and an extended family of grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, nieces, nephews, and stepchildren. A celebration of Terry's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
