JOHN FRANCIS SHEARON

John was born in Blackpool, England to the late John Joseph and Mary Catherine Shearon. When he was eighteen he came to America with his family to have a better life. He joined the U.S Navy and became a U.S. Citizen. For over forty years, John worked for Thermo-Trol as an HVAC sales and repairman. After retirement, he took up running to stay in shape. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family and playing with his grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of forty-five years, Kathleen Anna Shearon; and a sister, Maureen Ryan .

Survivors include a son, John Shearon; daughter, Bridget Conway and husband Shawn; three grandchildren Gavin, Addison and Hunter; one sister, Patricia Donohue; and a host of extended family.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 13, 2021, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Church of the Ascension Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
