It is with sadness to inform you that a brother Sir Knight has passed on from our ranks on January 1, 2022. SK Andrew L. Ruff, a Past Grand Knight of Holy Ghost Council in Palatine, was 94.
He served our country for 2 years being drafted into the US Army, for many years he also served as organist for Our Lady of the Wayside and St. Thomas of Villanova parishes. He was the father of five, grandfather of ten and great grandfather of 17. He and his wife Ruth were married for 70 years.
Eternal rest grant unto Brother Andy O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May Brother Andy's soul and the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen |
