Arturo passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2012.
Arturo was a resident of Pearland, Texas at the time of his passing. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Oralia Chapa; Christopher "Tiger" Chapa and fiancé, Katrina; daughters, Samantha Barfield and husband, Eric, Kimberly Chapa-Hernandez and husband, Jesus.
Arturo was a true craftsman with wood and metal and enjoyed the simple art of making things with his hands. He was a man of great faith and loved everyone unconditionally. Arturo cherished spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren's many activities. In his spare time, he always looked forward to going fishing. Arturo will forever be remembered for his great sense of humor and for always having a smile on his face or laughing. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. |
