LEON EDMUND BRADEN SR., 73, passed into eternal life Wednesday, July 17, 2003 in Houston. Mr. Braden served his country, in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Knights of Columbus - 4th Degree. Leon was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary in December of 2002. He leaves behind his loving daughter, Teresa Powell; son, Leon E. Braden, Jr.; grandchildren, Sarah Braden-Guevara and husband Nicolas, Kristi Powell; sisters, Sister Mary Elaine Braden, Mary Louise Hacker and husband Martin; brothers, Msgr. Leroy H. Braden, William Braden and wife Connie; numerous other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 19 at Earthman Gulf Chapel, 6330 Gulf Freeway 77023. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Monday, July 21, at 12 Noon, St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Rd., Pearland, Tx. 77581. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery, Webster, Tx. |
