Washington Council 224 mourns the death of its member Anthony Louis Cash. On Tuesday, April 7, 2020, Anthony Louis Cash of Wheaton, Maryland passed away peacefully at the age of 87, at Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Cash, Jennie Cash and his sister Nina Stamato. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Nancy Cash, their 3 children and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lynda Astafanous (Medhat) of St. Leonard, Maryland, Justin, Brittney. Anthony Cash (Ruth) of Germantown, Maryland, Anthony, Joshua (Ashley) Kayla, Carter, Paul, Paul Junior. Michael Cash (Dana) of Johnson City, Tennessee, Jackie Kate King (Joshua) Michael. He served in the US Navy 1951-1955. He earned an Honor medal, Good conduct Medal, European Occupation, National Defense-USS Worcester-CL-144. He retired from the US Secret Service, serving under several presidents. He also worked security for the US Treasury. He loved his careers. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is loved very much by his wife, his children and his grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He is a husband, daddy, and pappaw. He is and will continue to be loved and missed greatly. There will be no viewing. Private service/celebration of life will be held at a later date, with military honors. He will be laid to rest at the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, Maryland. |
