Timothy Alan Woodington, Sr.
Norfolk - Timothy Alan Woodington, Sr., 66, passed away September 27, 2018. He was born August 8, 1952 to the late Charles T. Woodington, Sr. and Virginia Swoope Woodington. He was also preceded in death by his children; Brian D., Barbara A. and Elaine K. Woodington. He was an active member and Past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council 367, Past Faithful Navigator of Assembly 1162, former District Deputy of District 1, member of CTK Church, member of Shriners Golf Association, and a member of I.B.E.W. Local #80. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Woodington; son, Timothy Alan Woodington, Jr.; sister, Jennifer Woodington Lindner (Charles); brothers, Charles T. Woodington, Gary S. Woodington, Mark A. Woodington (Ginger), Paul A. Woodington, and Patrick A. Woodington (Anita); grandchildren, Timothy, Heaven, Tara, Patrick, and Scott; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 11 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church. A reception will follow at The Knights of Columbus Hall, 5201 Kennebeck Ave. in Norview. A Rosary Service and Chalice Ceremony will be conducted during the visitation. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday evening at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth BLVD. |
