Event’s Purpose: Ducky Downs is a fast-moving plastic duck racing venue. Track conditions are always wet and fast. Races are held as soon as 10 or more ducks are entered into the next race. Each Duck is numbered. The track pays out 50% of duck entry fees for each race. Payout is made to Win, Place, Show finishing positions. Our curvy table top track is supplied with a high-volume sump pump with a variable speed controller. Race manager keeps river rock features well positioned for extraordinary drama and more fun. Entry Fees typically $5, $10, $20 and main event stakes at $100.

Job Descriptions:
Race Manager (1): Sets Entry Fees for each race, adjusts river rock hazards, decides when to close duck race entries, operates race starting gate, ensures no duck stalls at starting gate in eddy pool, controls variable speed pump, establishes Win, Place, Show finish order.
Race Cashier (1): Receives Entry Fees, Disperses payouts verifying correct ticket, Controls Cash Box. Collects cash for promotional items sold.
Duck Entry Sales: Booth Barkers Solicit Duck Entries for next race. Two (2) are minimum required. The job is to collect money, write duck entry number on both matched numbered ticket, receive payout from Race Cashier and get it in the right hands. One (1) or Two (2) Crowd walking Ducky Downs Barkers sell higher value race entries, typically $20 or$100. Booth Barkers also sell promotional items (shirts, hats)\
