Dear brothers and sisters in Christ ⛪️ !
As we, the Knights of Columbus, council, 7414, have done in the past, we asked for your financial donation to purchase long sleeve white shirts to support the Migrant crop pickers in our area.
Our local migrant farm workers perform a seldom recognized but vital role within our communities.
Their timeless efforts too often are not seen and therefore, the condition they work in are seldom addressed.
To help with this, our local Knights of Columbus council has been working with other councils and donors to purchase lightweight, long-sleeved white shirts to donate to one of our large local farms.
T-Shirts will be donated to John Falkner H2a program farm workers in Myakka. A $6.00 donation is welcomed; Cash or checks can be made to: Knights of Columbus council 7414.
After each Mass, beginning January 10,11,17,18,2026, we will have a table in the church narthex for our parishioners to see the product, ask questions, or donate to this worthy
cause.
Our Savior, Jesus Christ, told us to “do to others as you would like them to do to you,”
(Luke 6:31). One hundred percent of the money collected will go directly towards the purchase of these shirts and all donations, no matter how big or how small, are greatly
appreciated.
