CHRISTMAS POSTER CONTEST - KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS
Christmas has become a secular holiday for many, especially children. To combat this, the Knights of Columbus have introduced the Keep Christ in Christmas poster contest. This program will allow youth to engage their creative talent and imagination while understanding the true, spiritual meaning of Christmas.
KofC Council 8954 will be hosting a local poster contest for the St. Joseph parish and school communities. Entries must include a slogan reflecting the topic of Keeping Christ in Christmas and an original visual image approximately 11"x17". The contest is open to all youth between the grade groups of Kindergarten through 8th grade. Contest entrants compete in one of the five grade categories: Kindergarten, 1st through 2nd, 3rd through 4th, 5th through 6th, 7th through 8th. Pre-K and over 8th grade are also welcome to enter as well for an unofficial competition -- just write that instead of the grade category on the entry form.
Entries must be received back at St. Joseph between December 1 and December 11th in the return box outside the west side main entrance next to the food donation bin..Poster must have Entry Form attached-- please print a copy from here:
