As you all know, St Matthew Church will celebrate their Golden Jubilee Anniversary (50th) this Sunday on September 21, 2025. Prior to the 11:00 am mass, they will have a dedication to the newly built Hughes Center Memorial. Afterwards, a reception will be held on the St Matthew’s campus. In you can, please attend this celebration.
More importantly, they need some help. SK Cory Linnane and his wife Joanie have been tasked with setting up the tents for the 50th picnic taking place after mass. They are looking for volunteers for Saturday afternoon for about an hour and a half to help set up the tents. If they could be there between 3:30 -4 pm should work. A couple of them are 10’X20’ and will require 5-6 people to handle them. Weather permitting of course but we want to give the group a heads up before their day is full.
They understand how busy everyone’s weekends are, but would be very appreciative of the help.
