Father is planning a special welcome for our new Vicar Sunday morning after 8 AM Mass. The Knights will be serving doughnuts and coffee. Father has asked that we NOT serve a Hot Breakfast until after 10AM Mass to keep the focus on the new Vicar, FR. RUDOLPH “Rudy” KWAMI OFORI.
Our schedule for Sunday, therefore is as follows:
- Set-up crew, including those who prepare coffee and doughnuts arrive at 6AM. We still have to put up tables and canopies since we found the sun and to be a real annoyance last week along with the flies. Jesse is preparing to do extra preparation to the tables to offset the flies.
- Cooking crew arrive at 9 AM to participate in the Welcome party.
- We will begin cooking at 10AM to be prepared for the exit from 10AM Mass at 11:00.
- We will not serve a hot breakfast after the 6:30 or 8AM masses.
Despite the lighter schedule we still need plenty of help setting up and breaking down.
