More and more customers are using credit cards to pay when we host events. And they love the Tap and Pay devices we use.
If you will be volunteering for upcoming events (Balloon Festival, Bingo, Tamales Sale, etc.), please consider coming to a credit card training session. You will learn how to load the smartphone app on your phone, login, create a 'favorites' or summary page of products, and create and modify a sale.
Based on last year's Balloon Festival traffic we plan to have 4 credit card readers at the main gate Booth A and 2 credit card readers at the Kid Zone Booth B during peak hours. That means we need a lot of volunteers ready to step in and handle credit card sales.
We will be using the Zettle by PayPal POS (Point of Sale) device to accept payments. We have scheduled two training sessions:
- Wednesday, August 21, 7 pm FFC Room 101
- Wednesday, August 28, 7 pm FFC Room 101
You only need to attend one session.
Room 101 is near the east entrance of the FFC. Enter through the east entrance since the south entrance will be locked.
