The Palatine Holy Ghost Council #4977; Inverness' Holy Family Council #11981; and the St. Theresa/St. Thomas Respect Life Team are co-sponsoring a special prayer service for our community.   We are very grateful that the Silver Rose, honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of the Americas, is making a stop at St. Theresa Church.  

Made of pure silver, the Silver Rose (#3 of 8) is being escorted by Knights of Columbus councils on a 9-month pilgrimage from Canada, through the United States, and completing the religious journey to Mexico in December.  Every stop the Silver Rose makes is a rosary-centered occasion for the community.   For more than 50 years, the Knights of Columbus have sponsored the Our Lady of Guadalupe Silver Rose Program to reaffirm the Order’s commitment to the Sanctity of Life; to pray for International Unity; and to honor the Blessed Virgin under her title of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
