The day will begin with 10:00 AM Mass under the tent by the midway. Mass will be followed by a picnic lunch to be held at the pavilion down by the river. Knights will be available to direct you.
After lunch you will be free to take part in everything the Fair has to offer. There will be time to browse the exhibits to see what our talented 4-H youth have made. There is also an area for school exhibits. Perhaps your child or grandchild will have something entered. There are cows, chickens, horses, pigs, sheep, and goats to see. There are also kiddie shows and other attractions. Please visit the Fair website to see all that is being offered.
Your ticket to the Fair will get you a wristband which can be used on all carnival rides. Children 3 and under are admitted free. However, if they wish to ride any of the kiddie rides, they will need a wristband which can be purchased in the Fair office for $5.
Admission to the Fair on Sunday is $10 per person. Your Council is picking up half the cost of the ticket. Lunch will be provided at no additional cost. Tickets will need to be purchased in advance. If you don’t purchase your tickets in advance, you will be charged $10 per person at the gate. All attendees must enter at the South Gate which is by the Ice Center at the South end of the Fairgrounds.
Please complete the following ticket order form and return it to Peter Nordeen, 1981 Tyler Ln, De Pere, WI 54115 along with you check made payable to Abbot Pennings Council. Please allow enough time for us to get your tickets to you in advance.
We hope to see everyone at the Family Picnic at the Brown County Fair.
