Special Needs Planning Seminar
This coming Tuesday evening, September 19th, the Knights of Columbus will present an on-line seminar at 7:00 PM CDT, specifically focusing on Sepcial Needs Planning. This benefit night is unique in that it is geared for families who are caregivers of a special needs individuals. In the words of our Alabama State Deputy, proper planning is crucial because it is extremely easy to make a mistake and, by doing so, potentially render that person ineligible for the type of care they need. While this is an opportunity for our Council to obtain credit for participating in a Fraternal Benefits night, more importantly it is an opportunity to give members of our council and parish the knowledge they need to navigate a set of very difficult decision points. Even though you may not think this matters to you at this point in time, you don't know what the next moment in life holds for you or one of your family members.
