The K of C Silver Rose Prayer service was developed by a group of Squires from Council 2312 in Monterrey, Mexico. The Rose was chosen to commemorate Juan Diego and the miracle of the roses, an important part of the story of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

The service at Saint Rita's is a small part of the whole ceremony which began in Canada, travels through the United States and ends in Mexico. In 2001 Supreme Knight Carl Anderson declared that while we honor Our Lady of Guadalupe we express the unity of the Order.  We also reaffirm the the Orders dedication to sanctity of human life.  As we turn to Blessed Mother in prayer to end the Culture of Death that grips our society.  As we think in terms of "One Life, One Rose," it is appropriate we turn to Our Lady of Guadalupe who made known through Juan Diego the miracle of the roses.

This service will be held at St Rita Catholic church at 5:00 pm on Sunday August 7th. We will hold the service and pray the Rosary. There will be no Mass. The Knights would be most encouraged to see your support for this family event.
