About Potomac Council

The Potomac Council Knights of Columbus is located at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish Center at 18825 Fuller Heights Rd. The Grand Knight for 2019-2020 is Mark Formica.

Potomac Council was founded in 1986 through the efforts of the founding brother knights and Past Grand Knight Richard G. Fox. The Potomac Council works closely with the St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Triangle, VA, The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal service organization of practicing Catholic gentlemen dedicated to supporting our clergy, church, community and country. The organization is founded on the principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.. We offer self-fulfillment through donation of time and talents wherever needed and wholesome fellowship with congenial companions who share the same belief and duty to God. Some specific volunteer opportunities are: service at parish breakfasts, annual food basket program, homeless dinners, collection of funds to support Citizens with disabilities, fundraising sale of fireworks, minor construction, activity planning, youth activities, vocations, support of the parish events, and more. Columbiettes of Potomac 9259

Columbiettes of Potomac is a Catholic Women's organization and auxilliary of the Knights of Columbus

Our purpose is to:
promote the spiritual, social, and charitable welfare of our members
to instill a steadfast conviction relating to the proper place and function of Catholic women in safeguarding the religious, civil and economic rights of all Catholics
to rely upon the intercession of Mary, our Mother and Model, for guidance in guarding the common good, and to work through her, on loving and aiding all members of the human family and to give assistance to the Knights of Columbus in all their activities upon request.

How to Join Columbiettes of Potomac 9259
All women of the parish are welcome to join, your husband does not have to be in the Knights of Columbus. If you wish to know more contact Irene Sullivan, President at 703-282-0753

About Columbiettes of Potomac 9259
Columbiettes of Potomac was established in 2011, through the efforts of Joy and Don Cicero. There are over 12,000 members in the United States and Canada. Columbiettes of Potomac is the first council in Virginia. The Columbiettes provide charitable works for those in need and participates in religious activities. We are devoted to The Blessed Mother, St Therese the Little Flower, and St. Joan of Arc.
