Our Beginning
We are Coffee Run Council 6768 a KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL. We were founded on March 24, 1976 through the efforts of Robert Del Collo. We are guided by the principles of the International Knights of Columbus Organization and are devoted to St Mary of the Assumption Parish and the Newark & Hockessin, DE communities, providing funds in support of various projects, community outreach and social events.
About Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest organization of Catholic men. Our core values are: Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.
By participating at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, our Council gives those values meaning through the actions of our members. We are made up of 200+ men and their families who make a difference in our parish, church, community, and nation. "Coffee Run" is the oldest Catholic name in Delaware history.
