About us
The Knights of Columbus was founded in 1862 in Connecticut by the Venerable Father Michael McGivney. Immaculate Conception Council 6245 was chartered on June 20th 1970 and remains true to the founding principles of the order. We do so through the effords of our members and their families.
The generous support of parishioners, our outside fund raising activities and the many hours of hard work of our members have allowed us to assist our church, community and youth in may ways. The value of our council's contribution to our church and community has been over $ 571,000 in the last 7 years! For the past 12 years our contributions have exceeded $ 1,128,000 dollars! We are succeeding but we need more Catholic men.
