COUNCIL INFORMATION
The Knights of Columbus Father Boecker Council 6090 was formed June 28, 1968, through the efforts of a few good Catholic gentlemen from Sacred Heart Parish in Lombard, Illinois. Our namesake is Father Anthony J. Boecker, the founding pastor of Sacred Heart Church.
We serve the priests and parish communities of two Lombard parishes—Sacred Heart Church and St. Pius X Parish, as well as Lombard and surrounding towns. We are active in numerous ongoing activities such as the Intellectual Disabilities (ID) or “Tootsie Roll” Fund Drive, financially assist local seminarians, and support many local charities like those of the Pro-Life movement and local Special Olympics.
