About Us
The Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 in Connecticut by Venerable Father Michael J. McGivney. Based on our principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism, we have become the world’s largest Catholic fraternal organization with over 15,000 Councils and 1.9 million members.
Locally, our Ramapo Valley Council #5846 was chartered in 1966, and we proudly serve the parishes of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, the Most Blessed Sacrament, Immaculate Conception, as well as the communities of Oakland, Franklin Lakes, and Mahwah.
Our current home is owned by the Ramapo Valley Home Association and has been in operation since 1985. Rentals are available for this completely renovated Hall and Lounge for meetings, events, or special occasions. Click on the "SEE INFORMATION ABOUT OUR COUNCIL HALL" button above, or contact our Rental Coordinator at (201) 337-7539 or hallrentals@kofc5846.org.
