About Our Council
Trinity Council of the Knights of Columbus was chartered on April 13, 1958.
The council chambers are located within the Sacred Heart Seminary & School of Theology (SHSST).
The monthly business meeting is held on the second Tuesday at 7:30 pm in the council chambers.
Trinity Council currently boasts 220 men whose ages range from 20 to 90.
A strong relationship with the Sacred Heart Fathers for the past 40 years has provided Trinity Council a primary charity; to support the vocations of students studying
for the Priesthood at Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology.
The Council donates $10,000 per year to help individual students with unexpected expenses on their journey to becoming a Priest. During this time many seminarians have joined our council and have become Knights, and after becoming Priests are encouraged to establish Knights of Columbus councils within their own parishes. We have provided through the years an endowment fund of $100,000 for the Sacred Heart Seminary & School of Theology pipe organ in the Main Chapel and contributed $100,000 for the school's upgrade of its technical information system.
Other charitable groups we support; but is not limited to, include:
