COUNCIL INFORMATION

Who are the Knights?

 

The Knights of Columbus is the largest Catholic men's fraternal organization in the world. Over 14,000 councils and 1.9 million Catholic men worldwide donate millions of hours of work and over $170,000,000 dollars to charitable needs and projects. SAN SALVADOR COUNCIL 4520 was incorporated by men of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in 1957.

When do we meet? We meet the second Tuesday of each month at St. Francis Borgia(South Church) N44 W6055 Hamilton Rd., Cedarburg, WI 53012 at 7:00PM. Our business meetings are preceded by prayer and are followed by fellowship.

Experience what it means be in the service of the Church right here in Ozaukee County.  The experience of being a Knight encompasses a variety of local, national and international projects including Special Olympics, Portal Industries, Habitat for Humanity, Foods for Families, Gloal Wheelchair Mission and Coats for Kids. You choose the level of involvement that suits your current family situation.

 

Supporting our parishes and the church:

  • Commmunity Impact: Tootsie Roll Drive to Support Special Olympics and Portal Industries. Habitat for Humanity
  • Youth Activites: Free Throw Contest, Grade School Christmas Poster Contest, St. John Bosco Youth Day, Green Bay Packer Tickets to Youth Ministry.
  • Church Efforts: Donations to St. Joseph Parish, St. Francis Borgia, Adult Formation Ministry, Los Toros, Capuchin Ministries, Holy Hill Ushering, Nativity scene at SFB South, Wisconsin State Charity Raffle to support vocations, SFB Festival Bingo and Monthy Holy Rosary.

Bringing the light of Christ into our communities:

  • Life Advocacy: Wisconsin State Charity Raffle, Women’s Support Center of Milwaukee, Women’s Care Center
  • How do we provide support? County Fair concessions stand fundraiser, Green Bay Packer Tickets fundraiser, Pick & Save Brat Fry.

Enjoying the friendship and fellowship of others:

  • Fraternal Recreation: Council social events, monthly fellowship, State Bowling and Golf tournaments.
