Welcome!

The Father James J. Kelly Council services the parishes of Saint Catherine of Siena in Cedar Grove and Our Lady of the Lake in Verona. Our brothers provide volunteers, funding, and other support for various projects that benefit our parishes and the communities where we live. Many of our brothers are also active in our parishes beyond their work with our Council.

The Council was chartered on May 29, 1953, and named in honor of Fr. Kelly, the first pastor of Our Lady of the Lake Church.

Council Meetings

Meetings are held twice a month, on the first and third Thursdays of every month at 7:30pm. Meeting locations alternate between First Thursdays: Our Lady of the Lake Church in Verona and Third Thursdays: Saint Catherine of Siena Church in Cedar Grove. Occasionally meetings and special events are held at The Salvatorian Monastery (off Crestmont Road, Verona, NJ).

4th Degree Membership

Any Third Degree member in good standing, one year after the anniversary of his First Degree, is eligible for membership in the Fourth Degree.
