COUNCIL INFORMATION

Who We Are

The Fr Griffin Council was established in 1953 at Seven Holy Founders Parish.  Over the years we've added Our Lady of Providence and Assumption Mattese to the list of parishes we serve.   We are currently 160 members ranging in ages from 94 to 24.

We are one of the more active councils in South County, with a program nearly every month.  Our 3 largest programs are the Tootsie Roll Drive helping our charities care for those with learning disabilities and the Knights of Columbus Developmental Center at Cardinal Glennon Children’s hospital, our Charity Poker Tournament, and the Fischer House Golf Tournament.

Click on our Calendar to see upcoming events and programs.  We encourage men who want to know more about us to join us at one of our programs.

While men over the age of 18 are eligible to join the Knights of Columbus, the Knights of Columbus is also a family organization, with resources and opportunities for families to get involved and live out their Catholic Faith.  Our program Fathers for Good, helps men understand their role in the children’s lives, helping their children grow emotionally and spiritually.  Families often attend our programs together, whether it be collecting money in our Tootsie Roll Drive, to helping with the Golf Tournament, or to helping with our Pancake Breakfasts.

Officers meetings are open to the public.  Come share with us your ideas and needs for our community.
