Our Council is very involved with local Church Activities, Youth Activities, Family Activities, Community Service, Pro-Life, and Council Activities. Examples of the many activities are: Red Cross Blood Drives - Preparing and Serving Meals at SonShine Soup Kitchen - Derryfest - Derry Holiday Parade - Tootsie Roll Drive - Support of the Derry Special Olympics Team - Ushers, Greeters, Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Religious Education at St. Thomas Aquinas Church - Lenten Fish Fry - Youth Free Throw Competition – Support of BirthRight of Southern NH.
Any Third Degree member in good standing, one year after the anniversary of his First Degree, is eligible for membership in the Fourth Degree. The primary purpose of the Fourth Degree is to foster the spirit of patriotism by promoting responsible citizenship and a love of and loyalty to the Knights' respective countries through active membership in local Fourth Degree groups (called "assemblies"). Certain members of the Fourth Degree serve as honor guards at civic and religious functions, an activity that has brought worldwide recognition to the Knights of Columbus. Council #3023 is affiliated with the MSG Randy D. McClellan Assembly #3594 in Derry, NH.
