COUNCIL INFORMATION
Who We Are
Father Louis Anthony Sigman
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS Council 16277
Our Domestic Church Father Louis Anthony Sigman Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization of Catholic gentlemen, with strong ties to our holy Church. Our Brothers graciously provide volunteer power, to help strengthen our Church while offering members and their families to grow in the faith. Through the sponsoring of Church-related activities, the members of the Knights of Columbus continue to show that we are the strong right arm of the Church. Our Council and as Knights, our faith is our foundation. We support religious outreach, promote vocations, and provide financial support for our seminarians. In this way, we help support St. Juan Diego of Chandler and strengthen our personal faith.
Knights in Action. Faith in Action.
The Knights of Columbus offers men a place to lead their families and communities in faith and service and put their Faith into Action. Knights of Columbus members, parishes, and families have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference
FAITH
Grow in faith and build a strong parish and Church. Aid priests and religious in formation, honor Mary, mother of God, and engage in serious spiritual reflections and religious education activities.
Into the Breach – In his apostolic exhortation Into the Breach, Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted outlines the challenges faced by men of faith in the world today. Into the Breach is a call to battle for Catholic men which urges them to wholeheartedly embrace masculine virtues in a world in crisis. By reading and discussing Bishop Olmsted’s inspirational words and accompanying study guide, councils will prayerfully examine the enormous breach in the battle line that lies before them. In doing so, they will begin to devise a personal plan of spiritual battle.

Councils are also called to provide their “adopted” seminarian or religious aspirant with moral support and prayers for their success.
Rosary Program – With Our “Fifth Sunday Program,” we promote devotion to the rosary in families and parishes by scheduling regular rosary prayer services.
Sacramental Gifts Spiritual Reflection - Under the guidance of our fellow knight and chaplain, Father Dan McBride
We bring spirituality to our monthly meetings.
