Answer the Call

At the start of another year, Knights renew their dedication to serving the underprivileged, following the example of their brothers around the world as they show that the mission of the Order is not just a tradition, but a living endeavor. Whether providing wheelchairs to people in need in a Philippines village or supporting a pregnancy resource center in Louisiana, each Knight is called to be a source of tangible and spiritual support in his community.

HISTORY

St. Mark Knights Council 12852, Founded and Chartered on January 26^th, 2001.

Founding: 

From the moment of our founding in 1882 by Blessed Father Michael McGivney, the Knights principals have been Faith, Family & Charity. Last year alone, in addition to raising and donating more than $154 million to charitable needs and projects, Knights volunteered more than 70 million hours of their time to charitable causes.

We undertake these acts of charity because we see those in need through the eyes of faith. Pope Benedict XVI calls this the “practice of love…as a community.”

We invite all practicing Catholic men of our parishes, age 18 and older, to join our ranks and take a more active role in their faith with us.
